On Friday night, my mother-in-law showed me how to make her specialty Halloween treat. What a process! It takes a lot of work, but these scrumptious doughnuts are worth making once a year-so delicious!

Masquerade--the Birds of Paradise

Last weekend, my Mom and I were itching for imagination, so we decided to plan a party for my younger brother, Scott and his friends. We asked the invites to decorate a mask as birds of paradise for girls and african animals for boys. The boys weren't too supportive but the girls were bold and beautiful! I'm so proud of their efforts. One of the highlights of the night was a spooky haunted house where my parents and their friends dressed up and creeped the kids out. I had fun being the tour guide.

Ward Talent Show

My husband tried to play my keyboard at the ward talent show by trying to play jingle bells but repeatedly mest up. If you could place, he would of probably been 18th place but there were only 12 talents presented.
